The Feeling of Community

The rain continued as well, as the flow of people.  The community decide that a little bit of rain was not going to ruin their parade of local talents.

Like Watercolor Artist Frank Wengen,

Frank is one of our region Northeastern Pennsylvania artist.  His has the ability to capture the peaceful feeling that comes alive in our area.  You can purchase Frank’s originals at esty . Catch up with him on facebook, or pinterest.  He is an active member of the Kitson Art Alliance as well.

Al Wayman owner of Creek Road Pottery  was a delight to have at this Pop Up Gallery.

Al’s functional crafted works are wonderfully textured.  His use of color and style, not only create memorable pieces of art, but they are highly resilient for everyday use.  You can find more of his available pieces on esty, facebook, instagram, and pinterest.

Kelly Pascoe,  is a compassionate, wonderful entrepreneur for Trades of Hope.

Trades of Hope partners with different rural artisan groups from around the world. They work with the artisans themselves and organizations that are helping women in difficult circumstances.  Some women have been rescued from sex slavery. Others are raising handicapped children alone. Some are in war torn countries and others have HIV/AIDS and leprosy.  Kelly represents the core ethics of this organization and we were proud to have her on board.

JT Maxwell, is a multi-instrumentalist. He’s a singer, song writer, producer and engineer of his own material.

JT was a delightful addition to Pop Up Art Gallery.  His smooth vocal style and instrumental versatility, is a defendant crowd-pleaser.  More information about JT Maxwell and his schedule can be found on facebookreverbnation, and twitter.

Sue Palackas is a contemporary acrylics and watercolor painter.

She has exhibited at the EMCA Gallery and the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock and the Community Cup Coffee & Tea House (“The Cup”) in Towanda.  Sue is a member of  the Kitson Art Alliance.   Her use of color is what draws you into the images she creates.

Hang with me.  There are several more creative souls to come…
