Well, we did it! Laceyville had it’s first Pop Up Art Gallery and I was just ecstatic to be apart of it! Before we get into the details, I wanted to thank those who help lay the foundation for the event. Doug and Terry owners of the Laceyville Thrift and Vintage Building. Thank you for working with me and allowing us to use your store front. The store front is available to rent or lease, so give Doug or Terry a call at 570-721-2796.
I’m grateful to Jeanne and Tony, owners of the Laceyville Hardware and Floor Covering. I was in and out of their store on a regular basis. They and their staff are very knowledgeable about helping you get the job done. We worked together on ideas about developing a wall hanging system (within budget), we enjoyed great conversation and customer service. Read more about their new entrepreneur adventure here.
My partner, David, for his patience and support regarding some of my wild hair ideas. Helping me paint the walls in record time (He’s much faster, when it comes to painting indoors walls, than I am). To Diane (for loaning Laceyville’s best floor laying spouse, Dean). Dean, thank you, for your time and ladder skills. I couldn’t have done it without you, sorry about the leg cramps.
Thank you to Joe, owner of Lech’s Pharmacy and his staff, for their patience, community outreach and allowing my patrons to drop off the originals for pick up. Like all the businesses in Laceyville, it’s about community.
Dan, Grace and Patrick of Kitson Arts Alliance, thank you for chipping in and spreading the word within the art community. I look forward to working with you in the future.
I would love to thank my patrons and the community of Laceyville for spreading the word, coming out on such a wet day and helping to make it a success.
